Mayor Jaume Collboni will kick off proceedings on 29 October at the Born CCM. He’ll chat with 20minutos director Jesús Morales about the city’s biggest changes and challenges over the past 25 years.

The morning session starts at 10am with coffee. However, the real discussion begins at 10:45am when Collboni takes the stage.

After the mayor’s chat, there’s a panel discussion moderated by Rubén González. Representatives from Endesa, Veolia and the city council will discuss Barcelona’s future. They’ll cover transport, sustainability, energy transition and quality of life.

The panel discussion explores public-private collaboration. It’s scheduled for 11:35am and runs until about 12:35pm.

This Barcelona anniversary event is part of 20minutos’ nationwide tour. The newspaper has been visiting Spanish cities to examine how they’ve evolved and what challenges lie ahead.

The event wraps up with a cocktail reception at 12:45pm. Anyone interested needs to register in advance, though spaces are limited.
