Emergency Response to Badalona Bus Crash

A fourth person, a worker from the bus company, was treated for an anxiety attack by the Medical Emergency System (SEM). Furthermore, six ambulances and a team of psychologists were dispatched to the location.

The road remained closed for some time, causing significant access complications to the hospital facility during the early morning. This incident highlights the critical importance of emergency response coordination in urban areas.

Meanwhile, the city continues to focus on public safety infrastructure. This comes as other major transport projects, such as the confirmed 2028 start for Ronda Nord construction, aim to improve connectivity. Additionally, authorities regularly test public alert systems, as seen in a recent emergency alert test for five million phones across Barcelona.

The investigation into the precise causes of the Badalona bus crash is ongoing. The condition of the critically injured driver remains the primary concern for emergency services.
