The 62nd Barcelona Boat Show is generating significant interest at Port Vell. This year’s edition marks a transformation in the event’s approach. Professionals and general visitors are flocking to the waterfront displays.

The exhibition spans approximately 2.2 kilometres around the port. Main areas include Moll de la Fusta, Moll d’Espanya, and Moll de Barcelona. Visitors can walk the route or use electric shuttle boats between locations.
The Boatique concept launches
The salon operates under ‘The Boatique’ motto this year. This special edition launches a three-year strategy to elevate the show’s profile. Organisers want to attract major national and international buyers.
Quality takes priority over quantity in the new approach. The focus shifts towards luxury brands, professional buyers, and high-value experiences. Consequently, the event runs from 8 to 12 October with enhanced offerings.
The show has positioned itself as a key venue for nautical business, innovation, and luxury. Programming and setting aim to attract high-spending buyers. Moreover, the event promotes the Mediterranean’s nautical industry.
Expanded exhibition space
This edition expanded to Moll de Barcelona to boost international reach. The addition allows vessels over 20 metres in length. Exhibition space covers 13,000 square metres outdoors, with over 130 boats floating and nearly 500 total vessels.
Leading shipbuilders like Brunswick and Beneteau participate. Prestige brands include Absolute, Azimut, Bluegame, De Antonio Yachts, and Zodiac. New participants include Sunreef, Horizon, Kawasaki, and Pearl.
Spanish builders like Kumbra, Level, Maxim, and Cleemenss appear alongside Italian firms Explorer and Rio Yachts. About 24 per cent of floating boats qualify as large-length vessels.
