The concerts scheduled for Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th and Friday 31st October all begin at 9pm, creating significant transport demands around the Montjuïc venue.
Lady Gaga Concerts Transport Arrangements
TMB will operate special shuttle buses connecting Plaça d’Espanya with Palau Sant Jordi to manage the expected crowds. Furthermore, upward-bound buses will run from 6:30pm to 9pm, while return services will operate from 11pm after each concert concludes. All vehicles will display clear “Pl. Espanya – Palau St. Jordi” signage and accept integrated fare system tickets.

The metro system will maintain its regular schedule during the concert period. Consequently, services will run until midnight on Tuesday and Wednesday, extending to 2am on Friday to accommodate late-night travellers. This transport reinforcement follows similar measures implemented for other major events, including when Barcelona hosted major conferences requiring additional public transport capacity.
Additionally, the shuttle service aims to prevent traffic congestion around Montjuïc, particularly given the venue’s capacity of approximately 17,000 attendees per concert. The transport authority has coordinated these measures with local authorities to ensure smooth operations throughout the three-event series.
Public transport enhancements for major events have become increasingly common in Barcelona. Meanwhile, the city continues to balance tourism demands with resident needs, as highlighted by recent discussions about tourist accommodation impacts on local communities. The Lady Gaga concerts represent another test of the city’s ability to manage large-scale entertainment events efficiently.
According to official announcements, all standard TMB tickets and travel cards will be valid on the special shuttle services. Therefore, concertgoers won’t need to purchase additional transport tickets specifically for these buses. The transport authority recommends planning journeys in advance and allowing extra travel time due to anticipated high demand around these Lady Gaga concerts.
