According to judicial sources, the city’s instruction court number 2 is investigating potential environmental law violations by Barcelona City Council and municipal company BSM regarding noise from events like Primavera Sound.
The case follows a June complaint from Stop Concerts, the Xarxa Veïnal Contra el Soroll, and local residents’ associations. They allege that noise and vibrations from Fòrum events have disrupted homes in nearby Besòs, Diagonal Mar, and even distant municipalities. Furthermore, the complainants argue this constitutes a breach of fundamental rights to rest and privacy.

Residents maintain that since 2004, the council has continuously authorised activities causing environmental damage and health impacts through acoustic pollution.
