Barcelona hosts the European final of The Champions Burger competition from 26 November to 14 December, marking a significant milestone for the continent’s premier gourmet burger championship.
The event transforms the Fòrum venue into a culinary battleground where over 30 burger creations from across Europe will compete for the prestigious title.

This international expansion represents a major step forward for the competition, which previously toured Spanish cities with its popular food truck format.

European Burger Championship Details
The competition kicks off on Wednesday 26 November at 19:00 at the Fòrum venue. Operating hours will run from Monday to Thursday between 18:00 and midnight, while Friday to Sunday sessions extend from midday until midnight. Furthermore, Monday 8 December will feature extended holiday hours from midday to midnight, accommodating the expected large crowds.
Among the participating establishments are several renowned names familiar to burger enthusiasts. Competitors include Gottan, Street Food Burger, Dalú, The Vicbros Burger, Madison Smash Burgers, and Roddy Burger. Additionally, four special ‘Hall of Fame’ entries will showcase their creations outside the competition framework, featuring Moflete, TEOX x Cenando con Pablo, Hades by EliasDosunmu and Smash Hiro.
Beyond the burger competition, visitors can explore diverse culinary offerings. The event features ribs from The Ranch Smokehouse, cachopos from K-Chopo, croquettes from Mamá Carmen Croquetería and hot dogs from El Surtidor. Sweet options include ice cream, cheesecakes, cookies, coffee and fruit from vendors like Locopolo, Seixis, Manolo Bakes and Vitaminas by Frutero Tiktokero.
The voting system maintains The Champions Burger’s established format, allowing attendees to rate each burger using QR codes on their purchase tickets. Participants evaluate aspects including meat quality, bread, ingredient combination, presentation and originality. Consequently, every vote also enters participants into a draw to win a Ford Mustang, adding extra incentive for visitor participation.
This culinary event arrives as Barcelona’s restaurant scene continues to evolve with new dining experiences and regulations. The European final represents a significant achievement for Barcelona’s food culture, positioning the city as a leading destination for culinary competitions and international food events.
