Furthermore, the route continued along Gran Via, Via Laietana, and Moll de la Fusta, concluding at the W Hotel. The event’s primary goal is to raise funds for families and children facing difficult circumstances during the festive season.

According to El Periódico, the Barcelona City Council confirmed the participation figures. The local police, the Guardia Urbana, coordinated traffic management to minimise disruption and ensure pedestrian safety throughout the event.

Authorities stated they would report any traffic infringements observed during the procession. This annual gathering forms part of a nationwide initiative celebrated in various Spanish cities each December.

The organisers collaborate with associations, foundations, and hospitals to distribute the collected donations. Consequently, the Solidarity Motorcycle Santa Ride directly benefits local community support networks. The spectacle also adds a unique, roaring dimension to Barcelona’s Christmas calendar.

Such large-scale events occur as Barcelona continues its normal rhythm alongside major projects. Meanwhile, the city maintains its commitment to managing public gatherings safely and effectively.
