Barcelona’s 2026 music festival season is now under way, with Primavera Sound leading the first big run of events from 3 to 7 June at Parc del Fòrum. The calendar then stretches through the year, with around 50 festivals and major concerts across Barcelona and the rest of Catalonia.

Primavera Sound brings a broad line-up to the city, including Doja Cat, The Cure, Addison Rae and my bloody valentine. Next comes Sónar, which takes over Fira Gran Via from 18 to 20 June, with The Prodigy, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Joy Orbison and Goldie on the bill. Cruïlla follows at Parc del Fòrum from 8 to 11 July, with Pixies, Suede, Halsey, Faithless and David Byrne among the headline names.

Barcelona also has a strong run of newer and specialist events. Brunch Electronik Festival runs from 7 to 9 August with Jeff Mills, Floating Points and Eric Prydz. Soundit Festival is set for El Prat’s Parc Nou on 17 and 18 July, with 2manyDJs, Honey Dijon and Blawan. Two new concepts are also joining the city’s calendar this year, Blaumarí Music and Barts Festival.

Blaumarí Music is a boutique music and gastronomy festival at Port Vell from 10 to 28 June. Its line-up includes Kamasi Washington, The Cardigans, Rufus Wainwright and Nile Rogers. Barts Festival makes its debut at Poble Espanyol between 28 June and 25 July, replacing the former Alma Festival, with Belle & Sebastian, Biffy Clyro and Gipsy Kings among the acts scheduled to play.

Beyond the city, Catalonia’s wider festival circuit is also busy. Rock Fest takes place in Santa Coloma de Gramenet from 3 to 5 July, Vida runs in Vilanova i la Geltrú from 2 to 4 July, and Canet Rock is set for Canet de Mar on 4 July. On the Costa Brava, Cap Roig runs from 3 July to 18 August and Porta Ferrada from 10 July to 18 August.

Barcelona’s concert venues are also packed through 2026. Les Nits Occident continues at Jardins del Palau de Pedralbes until 20 July. The Reggaeton Beach Festival is scheduled for Fira de Barcelona on 27 and 28 June, Share Festival takes place at Parc del Fòrum on 24 and 25 July, and Mira Festival is set for Fira Montjuïc on 6 and 7 November. Major arena and stadium dates include Ludovico Einaudi at Palau Sant Jordi on 16 June, The Weeknd at the Olympic Stadium on 1 September, and Aitana at Palau Sant Jordi on 4, 5, 7 and 8 September.
