Previously used for unregulated vehicle parking, the space has been completely reimagined through the Neighbourhood Plan (Pla de Barris) funding programme. Furthermore, the project maintains the area’s natural topography while introducing new greenery, urban furniture, and improved lighting.
According to official documents, the development represents a strategic intervention with three clear objectives: creating new community spaces, generating proper parking areas, and reurbanising streets for better mobility and safety. The redesign introduces a unified platform that prevents illegal parking while ensuring pedestrian mobility. Additionally, new drainage systems have been installed, and previously degraded slopes have been stabilised and recovered.
