Barcelona’s Ajuntament is holding an information session on planned summer service cuts to tram lines T4, T5 and T6. The notice matters most for Barcelona residents who use the Trambesòs network for daily travel across the city’s eastern districts.
The session is meant to explain what will change, when the disruptions will happen, and what alternatives may be available. The lines are important links for people travelling between neighbourhoods such as Sant Martí, Diagonal Mar and the Besòs area.
The Trambesòs network includes the T4, T5 and T6 lines, which connect parts of eastern Barcelona with key transport hubs. Temporary changes are often scheduled in summer, when passenger numbers are lower and maintenance work can be carried out with less disruption overall.
The T4 line runs from Ciutadella | Vila Olímpica to Estació de Sant Adrià, passing through Glòries. The T5 and T6 lines extend further into the Besòs area, so any cut to services can affect journeys to work, study and leisure across the city.
Residents who rely on these tram lines should follow the Ajuntament’s original notice for the latest details. You can also keep an eye on official city updates as more information is published.
