Early risers may notice some light precipitation across the territory during the pre-dawn hours. However, these initial showers are expected to be unproductive. They will likely stay below 5mm even in the wettest spots.

Before sunrise, this rain is forecast to move off towards the northeast. A moderate mistral wind will then sweep through, effectively cleaning the atmosphere. Consequently, it will set the stage for a pleasant morning. Expect long sunny spells accompanied by thin clouds shaped by the breeze.
Barcelona Weather Forecast: Afternoon Showers Likely in the North
Conditions are set to change from midday onwards. As the wind shifts to the north of the Llobregat river, cloud cover will increase. By the afternoon, scattered showers are predicted to develop.
These showers will be most prevalent north of Barcelona, specifically affecting Vallès Oriental and the Maresme region. However, meteorologists have not ruled out the possibility of small downpours reaching further south. They could potentially extend to the Llobregat delta.
Regarding temperatures, Sunday will start fresh with lower minimums. Meanwhile, maximum values remain largely unchanged from Saturday.

Looking forward to next week, the region will see the passage of frontal lines associated with Atlantic storms. Monday may bring some drizzle around midday. Meanwhile, Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to remain cloudy but mostly dry.
The most significant development for the coming week, however, is a marked rise in temperatures. Both day and night-time values are set to increase. Therefore, they will offer a brief but distinct taste of early spring weather by mid-week, unlike the recent weather forecast and Storm Leonardo.
