From Friday 31st October through Saturday 1st November, residents and visitors can participate in hundreds of activities spanning all districts. The celebrations blend traditional elements with contemporary twists, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout Barcelona’s streets and squares.
Neighbourhood Celebrations Bring Communities Together
Sants-Montjuïc district launches the festivities with an extensive programme. In La Marina, Can Farrero gardens host the Castanyada i xerinola al Rellotge from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, featuring music from La Tresca i la Verdesca and complimentary chestnuts for all attendees.
Meanwhile, Poble-sec presents its unique Castalloween event between 5:00pm and 7:45pm. This includes a Trick or Treat route visiting 25 local businesses, demonstrating how local commerce remains integral to community life despite recent changes to trading hours.
