Barcelona police detained a 29-year-old Albanian fugitive on Passeig de Gràcia after officers say they found him carrying a loaded pistol and false documents.
The arrest took place in the city centre, on one of Barcelona’s busiest streets. Police identified the man as a wanted suspect and moved in during the operation.
According to the information available, the man was carrying a loaded firearm at the time of the arrest. Officers also say he had false documents with him.
