Few cultural experiences in Barcelona match the magic of a Candlelight concert. The global series, which has staged over 5,000 performances worldwide, has found a particularly enthusiastic audience in the Catalan capital.
Each performance transforms a historic venue into an intimate concert hall, lit entirely by hundreds of flickering candles. The repertoire ranges from classical masterworks to contemporary tributes — Vivaldi's Four Seasons one evening, a tribute to Hans Zimmer the next.
The venues
Barcelona's Candlelight concerts take place in some of the city's most architecturally significant spaces. Casa Batlló, Gaudí's masterpiece on Passeig de Gràcia, hosts regular sessions in its Noble Floor. La Pedrera offers concerts on its famous rooftop. The Gothic Quarter's Basílica de Santa Maria del Pi provides cathedral acoustics.
Tickets and booking
Tickets range from €15 to €35 depending on the venue and seating. The most popular performances — particularly those at Casa Batlló and La Pedrera — sell out weeks in advance. Book through the official Candlelight website or Fever.
