According to reports, three individuals were affected by smoke inhalation or minor injuries. One person required transfer to the hospital by SEM operatives.

Elsewhere, in Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona, a fire broke out in the kitchen of a commercial property. While the blaze was smaller in scale, it still necessitated a rapid emergency response, with one person requiring medical attention at the scene.

The pressure on the fire service began well before midnight. At 10:00 pm on Wednesday, eight separate fire crews were deployed to a six-storey building in Martorell, Barcelona.
