Barcelona’s iconic Collserola Tower will open its panoramic viewpoint for exceptional sunset visits during Easter Week. From 1st to 5th April, visitors can experience the breathtaking evening light from 18:00 until 20:45, according to betevé.

The 288-metre tall tower, the highest building in Barcelona and Catalonia, provides unique vistas across the urban landscape and beyond. Two ticket options are available for those wishing to access the viewpoint. A standard tower access ticket costs €7, with a reduced price of €3.90 for visitors over 60 years old.
Additionally, a “Sunset at Tibidabo” combined ticket is on offer for €13.50. This option includes both access to the tower’s viewpoint and a return journey on the Cuca de Llum funicular, according to Official Collserola Tower website. This special opening allows residents and tourists not leaving the city to enjoy a distinctive perspective of Barcelona.
Collserola Tower’s Unique History
This is not the first time the Collserola Tower viewpoint has opened for evening sunset observations. The facility also welcomed visitors last August during the same hours, according to Barcelona Easter Week information. This earlier opening aimed to assess public interest and response to the unique proposal.
British architect Norman Foster designed the impressive structure. Construction began in the early 1980s and concluded in 1992, coinciding with the Barcelona Olympic Games. The tower features a 3,000-tonne metallic structure.
