Corrections Policy

Corrections Policy

Barna.News is committed to accurate, fair reporting. We take errors seriously and correct them promptly and transparently.

How to report an error

If you believe a story contains a factual error, please email corrections@barna.news with the URL of the article, a description of the error, and any supporting information or sources.

We aim to review all correction requests within one working day.

How we handle corrections

If we confirm an error, we will correct the article as quickly as possible and add a correction note at the bottom of the article explaining what was changed and when. For significant errors, we may publish a separate correction notice.

Minor corrections — such as spelling or formatting errors that do not affect the substance of a story — may be fixed without a correction note.

What we will not do

We do not remove articles on request unless there is a compelling legal or ethical reason to do so. Disagreeing with our editorial judgement or framing is not grounds for a correction, though we always welcome feedback.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a correction, you can escalate your complaint by emailing hello@barna.news.
