Barcelona police arrested a 27-year-old fugitive on Passeig de Gràcia after identifying him in the city centre, according to Mossos d’Esquadra.
The man was wanted under an international arrest warrant for homicide. Officers say he was carrying a loaded pistol, ready to fire, when he was detained.
The arrest took place in one of Barcelona’s busiest streets, in the heart of the city. Mossos did not give further details about the operation in the information provided.
