Friday 10th October’s weather will be marked by heavy cloud and fog across Catalonia. However, four regions remain on alert for intense rainfall from the Meteorological Service of Catalonia: Montsià, Baix Ebre, Baix Camp and Tarragonès. Friday will start with very cloudy skies, especially in Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre where intense precipitation could occur between midnight on Thursday and 6am on Friday.

During the morning, clouds will also be present on the central coast and pre-coastal areas. In some zones, visibility will be compromised by forecast fog, specifically in La Selva, Anoia, Alt Penedès and Terres de Ponent, where there’ll also be clouds. In the afternoon, according to Meteocat, some clouds will grow in the Pyrenees and points of the southern pre-coast.
Showers are also forecast in Alt Urgell and around the towns of Falset, Montblanc and Les Borges Blanques. At the end of the day, cloud cover will increase at other points on the coast and pre-coast, but will be lower in central Catalonia, Barcelona, Ponent and the Girona regions.
Temperature forecasts across Catalonia rain alert zones
This Friday, the temperature in Barcelona will start the day with a low of 18 degrees and the maximum will be 24°C. In Girona, the day will have a minimum of 13 degrees and will reach a maximum of 24 degrees. In Lleida, the day will start with a minimum value of 13 degrees that will rise to 23°C maximum. And in Tarragona, the morning will start with 15 degrees that will grow to 24°C in the afternoon.
The Meteorological Service of Catalonia maintains the forecast for rain in Montsià, Baix Ebre, Baix Camp and Tarragonès during the morning. Residents in these areas should prepare for wet conditions and potential disruptions to outdoor activities. Those living in fog-affected zones should exercise caution on the roads.
