Gavà Christmas Garden of Dreams launches this week with an ambitious programme of interactive installations and inclusive celebrations.
The Baix Llobregat municipality has completely reimagined its festive offerings, transforming the Torre Lluc into a magical winter destination from November 28th through January 5th.

The Garden of Dreams represents a significant evolution in Gavà’s approach to Christmas celebrations.

According to municipal officials, the space will feature constantly changing installations that adapt throughout the Advent calendar. Furthermore, visitors will encounter Herald and Heraldina, the town’s iconic Christmas characters, who guide participants through an interactive storytelling experience.
Each visit promises to be unique, with participants playing active roles in the unfolding narrative. The municipality emphasises that this represents a shift toward more dynamic and engaging festive programming. Consequently, the experience will evolve through three distinct phases aligned with key local celebrations: the initial lighting ceremony, Sant Nicasi festivities, and finally the arrival of the Three Kings.
The Garden of Dreams opens officially on November 28th with a spectacular light, sound and animation show. Additionally, the space will remain accessible until January 5th 2026, with free admission subject to capacity limits. Visitors should note that last entry is permitted 30 minutes before closing each day.
Inclusive Programming and Extended Hours
Gavà’s commitment to accessibility sets this Christmas experience apart. The council has implemented specific measures to ensure everyone can enjoy the festivities. Therefore, sensory-reduced sessions with lowered sound and light levels will operate on selected dates throughout December.
People with reduced mobility will benefit from direct access without queuing. However, visitors must present disability certification at the access control point. Meanwhile, the extended opening hours accommodate different schedules, with particularly late closures from December 22nd-28th and January 2nd-4th.
The municipality will also illuminate approximately 1,400 light points across Gavà. Moreover, decorative elements will expand to include new ornamental features at key locations. These include enhanced lighting in pedestrian areas, luminous banners along the C-245, and decorative light curtains adorning Casa Gran’s balconies.
From December 2nd-4th, the Royal Mail Camp will occupy the Garden of Dreams, providing children with opportunities to deliver their letters to the Kings’ postmen. This Gavà Christmas Garden of Dreams initiative completes a comprehensive festive programme that blends tradition with innovation, creating magical memories for all ages.
