The inaugural event promises to showcase the region’s finest gastronomic offerings alongside live entertainment and family activities.
Gavà food festival highlights local restaurants
Nineteen local restaurants will participate in the festival’s debut edition. Consequently, visitors can sample tapas and special creations from establishments including Cellers La Vinya by chef Jordi Vidal and Havana 66 with chefs Elioberto Olivera and Rosa María Crespo. Furthermore, Tasta’mm by José Antonio Vilches Esteban and Sanset Pastisseria by Ivan Amores will showcase their culinary expertise.
The event transforms Jaume Balmes square into a vibrant culinary hub. Additionally, organisers have programmed live cooking demonstrations throughout both days. Meanwhile, families can enjoy dedicated children’s workshops alongside the gastronomic offerings.
Musical entertainment complements culinary experience
Live performances will feature groups including Badulaque 80, The Serial Medlers and Mala Vida. Therefore, the festival offers a complete sensory experience combining taste and sound. Moreover, the musical programming aims to create a festive atmosphere throughout the weekend.

The Gremi de Restauració de Gavà has organised the event in collaboration with the local council. Accordingly, this partnership ensures strong representation from the area’s hospitality sector. The festival represents a significant addition to Catalonia’s autumn event calendar.
Entry remains completely free for all visitors. However, food and beverages will be available for purchase directly from participating restaurants. The Gavà food festival operates from 12:00 to 16:00 on both Saturday and Sunday.
