The property had been a source of significant distress for local residents since the occupation began. Investigators revealed that the apartment was being used both for the consumption of narcotics and to facilitate drug use by others. Consequently, this created a disturbance in the otherwise quiet residential area.

During the eviction, officers cleared the six occupants from the premises. Meanwhile, two administrative complaints were filed for the possession of bladed weapons found during the search.

Following the operation, the Mossos d’Esquadra secured the site and formally returned possession of the domicile to its rightful owner. In addition, this incident reflects a broader issue, as indicated by one in four residents in the Barcelona metropolitan area was a victim of crime in 2024.
