Visitors can try the original recipe or variations ranging from innovative twists to traditional spicy versions, plus vegetarian and even sweet bombas. This year brings a new competition to choose the best bomba in Barceloneta. A specialist jury including Marc Ribas, Judith Càlix and Miquel Moreno will select winners on 17 October in two categories: the most daring bomba (surprising in flavour, power or creativity) and the best-looking bomba (most photogenic).
