Pro-Palestine protesters blocked Barcelona’s Ronda Litoral on Friday evening around 7.40pm as part of demonstrations demanding an Israel boycott. The Catalan Traffic Service confirmed exits 21 towards Trinitat and 23 towards Llobregat were cut off in both directions.

The march left Plaça Urquinaona at 6.30pm heading towards Plaça Carbonera, where around 150 people have set up camp calling for an end to what they describe as genocide in Gaza and the release of detained Global Sumud Flotilla activists.

Demonstrators blocked the major thoroughfare to make their demands more visible, affecting traffic across the area. The established camp at Plaça Carbonera serves as a focal point for the ongoing mobilisation.
