Barcelona will host a free concert by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs at Parc del Fòrum on Saturday, 22 June. It is the Argentine band’s only stop in Spain and part of their El León del Ritmo tour, which marks nearly 40 years in music.

The concert is organised by the Ajuntament de Barcelona as part of Primavera a la Ciutat, the city programme that runs alongside Primavera Sound. The aim is to bring live music and cultural activity closer to residents and visitors, with free access to a major international act.

Los Fabulosos Cadillacs are known for mixing ska, rock, reggae and Latin American rhythms. Their best-known songs include Matador, Vasos Vacíos and Mal Bicho. The band last played in Barcelona in 2017, so this date is likely to draw strong interest from fans in the city and across Catalonia.

Doors open at 19:00 on 22 June, and the concert is due to start at 21:00. The city advises people to use public transport, as parking near the venue is limited. For venue information, see the Parc del Fòrum diary page.

This is a straightforward free night out for Barcelona, with a well-known Latin American band on a city-backed programme. If you follow local live music, you may also want to keep an eye on our Sport and Community coverage for more city events and public programmes.
