Barcelona will host the 60th Los40 Music Awards Santander 2026 at the Palau Sant Jordi on 20 November, bringing the event back to the city. The awards will once again gather top national and international artists at one of Barcelona’s best-known venues on Montjuïc.

Ticket pre-sale will start exclusively for Santander bank clients from 16 June. Tickets will be sold through the Santander Music and Los40 websites. General sale will open a few days later, according to Los40’s statement on Monday.

The Los40 Music Awards are a major date in the Spanish music calendar. Barcelona also hosted the ceremony in 2016 and 2024, while the 2025 edition took place in Valencia. The Palau Sant Jordi has a capacity of around 17,000 spectators and regularly stages concerts and sporting events.

For Barcelona, the return of the awards adds another large cultural event to the city’s calendar. It is also likely to draw visitors, artists and industry staff into local hotels, restaurants and transport links around Montjuïc and beyond.

Further details on performers and nominees have not been announced yet. Readers following Barcelona’s live events scene can also keep an eye on our Sport and Community coverage for more city updates.
