More than 500 people honoured the Manlleu fire victims this afternoon as they filled Fra Bernardí Square. They paid their respects to the five teenagers who tragically lost their lives in a fire on Monday night. The emotional gathering marked the first public act of remembrance for the young victims.

The tragedy occurred in a ground-floor storage unit within an apartment block on Montseny Street. Consequently, the City Council decreed three days of official mourning.
