Mar i Cel film adaptation brings the iconic Catalan musical to cinema screens across the region this Friday.
The cinematic production, co-produced by 3Cat and theatre company Dagoll Dagom, was officially presented in Barcelona on Monday afternoon ahead of its widespread release.
According to the official announcement, the film will reach 40 cinemas throughout Catalonia starting November 28th.

“We’ve added another dimension,” Subirà stated. “Taking theatre to the screen and using all of cinema’s resources to tell the same story in a different way.” The production team employed nine cinema cameras to achieve 4K HDR quality with immersive Dolby Atmos audio.
