Party Fiesta is set for its third revival under Twin Group, the holding company behind Comercial Arquè, which acquired the brand earlier this year. The company has spent months revitalising the party supplies retailer through online sales and a flagship Barcelona store, with franchise expansion planned for 2025. According to company documents filed last month, the relaunch strategy focuses on digital transformation while maintaining physical retail presence in the city centre.

The Revival Strategy
Twin Group executives confirmed the acquisition completed in June, with approximately €2 million invested in brand modernisation. The flagship store will open at 245 Consell de Cent street in Barcelona’s Eixample district. Additionally, the company plans to hire 15 staff initially, according to employment filings. This retail expansion contrasts with recent challenges in Barcelona’s commercial sector, where demographic shifts have affected traditional business models.

Market Context
The party supplies market has seen consistent demand in Barcelona despite economic pressures. Industry data from the Catalan Commerce Institute shows specialty retail growing 4.3% annually since 2022. However, Twin Group faces competition from both online platforms and established local suppliers. Company representatives indicate they will leverage Comercial Arquè’s existing distribution networks while developing exclusive product lines. This approach follows similar patterns seen in Catalan business adaptations to changing market conditions.
The franchise programme will begin testing in early 2025, focusing initially on the Barcelona metropolitan area. Company officials state they aim to establish 30 franchise locations within three years. This expansion could create approximately 120 jobs across Catalonia if targets are met. The brand’s digital platform has already begun operations, with full inventory available by November.
