Pedralbes Gardens Reopen After Storm Íngrid Damages Central Walkway
According to site reports, the two large trees fell across the central walkway. The collapse was forceful. It tore up a section of ground, leaving a crater about three metres wide. One of the garden’s lampposts was also destroyed. The city previously addressed similar concerns when the major city-wide infrastructure investment plan was launched.
The Generalitat de Catalunya managed the emergency response. It has held the title to the Pedralbes Gardens since 2022. Crews removed the heavy trunks and branches. They also cleared debris and assessed surrounding vegetation stability.
