A person died from electrocution on train tracks near Castellbisbal station early Friday morning, leading to a temporary suspension of the R4 Rodalies line.

The incident occurred around 04:00 on Friday. Catalan police, the Mossos d'Esquadra, have started an investigation. They aim to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death.

The fatality caused significant disruption to commuter services. Renfe reported the R4 Rodalies line was interrupted between Martorell and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, according to Castellbisbal train station Wikipedia. This suspension lasted from 06:27 until 06:54, affecting early morning travellers.
