The legendary musical “The Phantom of the Opera”, composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is coming to Barcelona’s Teatre Tívoli this autumn, with performances running from 23 September until 1 February.
This new Spanish production, directed by Federico Bellone with musical direction by Julio Awad, stays faithful to the spirit of the original, first staged in London’s West End in 1986 and Broadway in 1988.
🎭 The cast includes:
- Daniel Diges as Erik, the tormented Phantom.
- Ana San Martín as Christine Daaé, the young soprano.
- Guido Balzaretti as Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny, Christine’s suitor.
The long-running production will allow Barcelona audiences to experience one of the world’s most beloved musicals over several months. The show promises to capture the grandeur and emotional depth that made Lloyd Webber’s masterpiece a global classic.
