The Mossos d’Esquadra are searching for a 26-year-old woman who went missing in Barcelona this week. Krizia was last seen on Thursday 2 October in the city, and police have shared details on social media asking for the public’s help.

When she disappeared, Krizia was wearing a brown dress with a long skirt and a white or grey jumper. She has long brown hair and may be disoriented. The police appeal comes as part of their standard missing persons protocol.
Barcelona sees two disappearances reported to the Mossos every day, accounting for 20% of all missing person cases across Catalonia. Last year, 719 people were reported missing in the city, down slightly from 736 in 2023 and 749 in 2022.
Right now, the force resolves 98% of missing person cases across Catalonia. Half of all disappearances are solved within the first three days, and 67% within the first week. Meanwhile, three in ten cases need cross-departmental support to help, advise, and accompany affected families.
Anyone with information about Krizia’s whereabouts should contact the Mossos d’Esquadra immediately.
