Rodalies commuter rail services have fully recovered following a series of disruptions during the Tuesday morning rush hour. The stoppages were caused by an incident at the Adif traffic control centre located at Barcelona’s Estació de França.
Sources from Renfe confirmed to the press that normal service resumed shortly after 08:19, following notification from Adif regarding the resolution of the technical fault.

Timeline of disruptions
Commuters faced two distinct interruptions to their journeys on Tuesday morning. The first incident halted train circulation briefly between 07:10 and 07:15.
A second, slightly longer disruption occurred an hour later. This suspension began at 08:08 and was resolved by 08:19, allowing the network to begin recovering its schedule.
Safety protocols enacted
Antonio Carmona, a spokesperson for Renfe in Catalonia, stated following the initial stoppage that the entire service had been halted "for safety reasons" while the infrastructure manager, Adif, addressed the issue at the control centre.
With the fault cleared, trains are now running, though passengers may experience residual delays as the network re-synchronises following the morning’s suspensions, similar to ongoing emergency works and service disruptions.
