Global pop sensation Rosalía has released the official Rosalía Sauvignon Blanc video. This third visual instalment from her widely acclaimed Lux era premiered on Wednesday. The video transports viewers to a stark desert landscape. It features surreal imagery, including a burning car and the artist levitating alongside an “invisible partner”.
A visual metaphor for intimacy
According to Sony Music, the video’s striking aesthetic is deeply symbolic. The label explains the visual metaphor alludes to “the idea of renouncing material things in favour of a deeper and more meaningful connection”. Therefore, emotional and spiritual intimacy is the central theme.

Noah Dillon helmed the project. He previously shaped the visual identity of the Lux (2025) album cover. This release follows video treatments for earlier hits ‘Berghain’ and ‘La perla‘. Consequently, it continues the cinematic narrative of the album campaign.

Coinciding with the video premiere, Rosalía released a standalone single package on streaming platforms. This includes Spotify and Apple Music. The release offers instrumental and a cappella versions of ‘Sauvignon Blanc’. Meanwhile, it provides fans a stripped-back look at the track’s production and vocal arrangements.
Domestically, the artist continues to dominate the charts. In Spain, Lux has held the number two position for 13 weeks. It has already achieved quadruple platinum status. Furthermore, the single ‘La perla’ remains the country’s most successful track.

The Rosalía Sauvignon Blanc video release comes amidst a busy week for the Catalan star. It was revealed on Wednesday that Rosalía will grace the cover of the spring edition of Vogue United States. Additionally, she recently appeared on a video podcast with Esty Quesada. This generated significant social media buzz.
