RTV Grupo Inmobiliario has announced a significant €29 million investment to develop two new residential projects in Sant Adrià de Besòs. This operation will introduce 77 new homes, transforming the areas around the Fòrum and the La Catalana neighbourhood.
The real estate sector increasingly focuses on Barcelona's first metropolitan ring as a solution to the capital's lack of available land. RTV Grupo Inmobiliario acquired two strategic plots for these developments. The projects will add a total of 9,700 square metres of buildable area.
New Housing Near Barcelona's Fòrum
The majority of these new properties will serve as primary residences. They will feature two and three-bedroom homes. MOA (Moliners Office Architects) designed the units, prioritising functionality and current market demand. RTV Grupo Inmobiliario highlighted the area's high potential for urban transformation.
The project near the Fòrum will be the larger development. It will comprise 42 homes, six lofts, and one commercial unit. These are distributed across two blocks, containing 26 and 16 dwellings respectively. The La Catalana project will feature 27 homes and one commercial unit within a building of six storeys plus a ground floor.
Boosting Sant Adrià's Urban Appeal
This intervention is expected to take 36 months to complete. This timeline will solidify the residential offerings in the area. The company stated that the project's main appeal lies in its excellent connectivity and the ongoing transformation plan for the surrounding environment. It benefits from its proximity to Fòrum beach and Diagonal Mar, a popular shopping and residential district.
Additionally, the nearby Three Chimneys sector is set to become a major technological and economic hub. RTV Grupo Inmobiliario underlined that the area is emerging as a new metropolitan centre. This is due to its combination of green spaces, access to the sea, and a direct connection to central Barcelona in under 25 minutes. These factors make Sant Adrià de Besòs an attractive location for new residents and investment.

The completion of these projects will significantly boost the housing supply in Sant Adrià de Besòs. It will also reinforce the municipality's role within the broader Barcelona metropolitan area.
