Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) will operate special shuttle bus services on Friday, 8th May. These buses will connect Plaça d'Espanya with Palau Sant Jordi for the Pablo Alborán concert. This initiative aims to improve access for the many concert-goers attending the event at the major Montjuïc venue.

Dedicated Shuttle Services

The uphill shuttle service will run from 18:30 to 21:00. These buses will travel directly from Plaça d'Espanya to Palau Sant Jordi. Plaça d'Espanya is a critical transport interchange, serving several metro lines and bus routes. After the concert finishes, a downhill service will start from approximately 22:30. This return service will also run between the venue and Plaça d'Espanya. All integrated transport tickets are valid on these shuttle buses. The vehicles will display "Pl. Espanya, Palau St. Jordi" as their line indicator, making them easy to identify.

Public Transport Options

Additionally, the Barcelona Metro will operate until 02:00 on Friday night. This extended service provides further transport options for attendees. Palau Sant Jordi, located on Montjuïc hill, regularly hosts major international music acts and sporting events. The special TMB services help manage the increased demand for public transport during such large-scale gatherings. This ensures that residents and tourists can reach the venue and return home efficiently.

Planning Your Journey

Concert-goers should plan their journeys in advance. They can check the service notices section of the TMB website for the latest information. These measures ensure smoother travel for everyone attending the Pablo Alborán concert. This proactive approach by TMB helps reduce traffic congestion around the Montjuïc area.
