Commuters face significant disruptions on Mondays 10th and 17th November, plus Fridays 21st and 28th November. These dates follow an initial strike day on 31st October, creating a pattern of weekly disruptions throughout the month.
Barcelona Tram Strike Service Reductions
The Generalitat’s Department of Work has established minimum service requirements during the industrial action. During peak hours from 6:30 to 9:30 and 16:00 to 20:00, services will operate at 40% capacity. Consequently, outside these times, services will be reduced to just 20% of normal operations.
Union representatives from CCOO, UGT FESMC and CGT have emphasised that the strike comes after twelve months of unsuccessful negotiations.
