A man was filmed by security cameras robbing several parked cars in Vallmoll, Tarragona, on 12 May. Police are now searching for the suspect who caused damage and stole items from vehicles in the Alt Camp region.

The incident took place around 03:50 in a car park on Carrer del Raval de la Pau. This location is directly opposite the El Niu nursery school. The suspect reportedly broke car windows. He then used a torch to inspect interiors before taking valuables from some vehicles.

The Ajuntament de Vallmoll, serving a town of just under 2,000 residents, has requested public assistance. "Any information that could help can be communicated to the Ajuntament or the Mossos d'Esquadra," they stated in a public announcement. The suspect caused significant damage to multiple vehicles, even if he did not steal from all of them.

Security Footage Aids Investigation

The car park is an open-air area, which the suspect likely believed lacked security systems. However, cameras from the adjacent nursery school recorded his every movement clearly. These images are now critical evidence for Mossos d'Esquadra investigators.

Police Actively Seek Suspect

Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia's police force, confirmed they are actively investigating the robberies. They are using the security footage to identify and locate the perpetrator. Police sources told ElCaso.com that the suspect will be arrested and charged with the robberies upon apprehension.
