Terrassa is preparing to host Europe’s biggest outdoor vegan festival as Vegan Fest Catalunya returns for its sixth edition on 20 and 21 September. The Parc de Vallparadís will once again transform into a free-entry hub for plant-based food, sustainable living and cultural exchange.

Last year’s edition drew more than 53,000 visitors, firmly placing the event on Catalonia’s cultural and gastronomic calendar. Organised by the Vegan Association of Catalonia, this year’s programme features live cooking demonstrations, talks, live music and a bustling market of local seasonal products.
The line-up includes internationally recognised figures: Melanie Joy, social psychologist and author of Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs, and Wear Cows; Sascha Camilli, activist with PETA UK and founder of Vilda Magazine; and Ricky Saward, the world’s first Michelin-starred vegan chef, who will lead a high-end cooking showcase based on his farm-to-table philosophy.
Beyond food, the festival is pitched as a space of inspiration and coexistence, aiming to make veganism accessible to all under the motto ‘Live and let live’. With activities designed for every age group, Vegan Fest Catalunya 2025 reinforces Terrassa as a European centre for vegan culture, sustainability and ethical consumption, at least for one weekend.
