The ‘Mercats de Barcelona amb Alta Gastronomia‘ campaign aims to prestige the city’s cuisine while bringing it closer to residents. Additionally, it seeks to promote shopping at municipal markets during the crucial pre-holiday period.

Participants simply need to spend more than €10 at any municipal market to receive a raffle ticket. Market stallholders will distribute participation slips directly to customers. Consequently, every qualifying purchase provides an entry into the prestigious dining competition.

The initiative involves all 27 Michelin-starred restaurants in Barcelona, creating an unprecedented collaboration between high gastronomy and local commerce. Therefore, winners will experience world-class dining at establishments including Disfrutar, Alkimia, and Angle.

Esteemed chefs Mateu Casañas, Oriol Castro, and Eduard Xatruch from Disfrutar have joined the campaign. Meanwhile, the Torres brothers and young chefs Cristina Beired and Elena Cerezo are also participating directly.

The raffle continues until Saturday, November 29th, with winners announced shortly afterward. This timing strategically positions the campaign to boost market sales during the important winter shopping season.

The Barcelona Michelin menu raffle represents part of broader economic promotion efforts. Similarly, recent budget proposals indicate increased focus on supporting local commerce and hospitality sectors.

According to official announcements, the campaign strengthens connections between premium dining establishments and community shopping habits. The initiative particularly highlights how high-end restaurants source ingredients from local markets.

This Barcelona Michelin menu raffle follows other market-focused initiatives across the city. Moreover, it complements existing programs that support traditional commerce while celebrating culinary excellence.
