A 14-year-old boy drove a stolen van through Barcelona's Trinitat Vella neighbourhood on Thursday, 14 May. He found the vehicle with its keys left inside. Police investigated the teenager for vehicle theft and driving without a licence.

The incident started when a resident alerted a Guàrdia Urbana patrol. She reported seeing a minor driving a van in the Trinitat Vella area. Guàrdia Urbana officers, who work in the Sant Andreu district, quickly began a search. They used the witness's description of the driver and vehicle.
