Barcelona’s TMB will add special shuttle buses this weekend for people heading to the Montjuïc Olympic Ring for the 3Cat en Viu event. The buses will link Plaça d’Espanya with Montjuïc on Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May, from 09:30 to 19:30 each day.
TMB says it will use articulated buses on the route, and normal integrated transport tickets for Barcelona’s public transport network will be valid. The operator will also reinforce Metro services with extra customer service and security staff at Espanya station, which is the closest stop to the Montjuïc Olympic Ring.
The Metro will run without interruption through Saturday night. On Sunday, services will continue until midnight, giving visitors more time to get to and from the area.
3Cat en Viu includes free activities and paid performances. Among the scheduled shows are El Foraster and a concert by Eufòria, both at Palau Sant Jordi.
