A man died on Monday evening, 20 April, after falling from the 25th-floor terrace of the Nobu Hotel in Barcelona's Sants-Montjuïc district. The tragic incident occurred at 22:52.
Metrópoli Abierta reported the death. The Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia's police force, confirmed to the publication that the incident was a suicide. This confirmation came after initial investigations at the scene.

Witnesses at the scene told Metrópoli Abierta that the man had just ordered drinks at the hotel's popular rooftop bar. He then fell from the 25th floor. Several units from the Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM), the Catalan emergency medical service, and Mossos d'Esquadra officers quickly responded to the scene. Despite their rapid arrival, emergency personnel could not save the man's life.
