Born in Barcelona, Roca began his professional journey with early acting training. He attended the Nancy Tuñón dramatic arts centre. He further honed his craft by studying film direction at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC). His career highlights include a prominent role as Rafa in the popular Catalan television series Ventdelplà.

Beyond acting, Roca co-founded the theatre production company Sixto Paz. He also ventured into the culinary scene. He became one of the driving forces behind the Lluritu restaurants located across Barcelona.

Gràcia, once an independent town, joined Barcelona in 1897. Today, it remains one of the city's most distinctive districts.
