Barcelona is celebrating Sant Jordi's Day on 23 April by offering free entry and special discounts at three of its most iconic landmarks. Individuals named Jordi, Jordina, Jorge, Georgina, and their international variants can access these popular sites. This initiative allows residents and tourists to experience Barcelona's rich cultural heritage.

Sagrada Família and Mirador de Colón Offers

People named Jordi and its variants can enter the Sagrada Família completely free on 23 April, along with one companion. Visitors must make a prior reservation through the official website of the basilica. Entry remains subject to available time slots and the monument's capacity. The Sagrada Família, designed by Antoni Gaudí, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Barcelona's most visited attractions.

The Mirador de Colón also joins the celebration, offering free access for those honoured on their special day. Companions will receive a 50% discount on their entry ticket to the monument. This promotion runs only in the morning on 23 April, from 08:30 to 13:15. Visitors must present their DNI or other identification document to qualify. From the Mirador de Colón, located at the foot of La Rambla, visitors can enjoy views of Port Vell and the entire city's maritime façade.

Extended Access at Torre Glòries

Meanwhile, Torre Glòries extends its initiative over several days. From 23 to 27 April, between 10:00 and 21:00, individuals with these names can benefit from a two-for-one offer. This allows them to access the viewpoint with a companion by paying for only one ticket. No prior reservation is necessary here, but presenting an identification document is mandatory. Torre Glòries, a distinctive skyscraper in the Sant Martí district, provides a complete panoramic view of Barcelona. This includes landmarks such as the Sagrada Família, the seafront, and Tibidabo mountain.
